The Fame Forum Custom represents the master class of the noble forge M-Guitars in Gdansk. The best tone woods, hand-wound Seymour Duncan USA pickups and first-class premium hardware from the German manufacturer Schaller come together here and are rounded off with finesses such as mother-of-pearl abalone bindings, gold hardware or the carefully tuned transparent Finish. Fame Forum Custom - a noble guitar of superlatives!
The body of the Fame Forum Custom is made of mahogany and has a two-piece top made of contrasting and evenly grained curly maple, glued according to the bookmatching principle. The experienced guitar builders from Gdansk pay attention to the strongest possible flame with a three-dimensional depth effect, which is additionally emphasized by the transparent Finish. A further optical depth effect as well as clear body contours are set by the shimmering iridescent mother-of-pearl purfling made of abalone, which is finished with a single layer of cream-coloured
Whoever plays the Fame Forum Custom will be thrilled by the slim profile and the weight of the instrument on the strap as well as on the lap! Because all hardware of the instrument in the form of pots, bridge and switches are recessed into the top for ergonomic reasons to make palm mutes and pickings as comfortable as possible.
Whether you're a shredder or a blues fan, both fast runs and organic bends are ideally supported by the slim yet contoured 'C' profile of the mahogany neck. For accessibility to the higher registers, the Forum Custom features a flattened neck foot, while the extended neck tenon glued to below the neck pickup underscores values like sustain and construction stability.
Classic rock tones, singing blues leads and aggressive metal riffs are the métier of the classic Seymour Duncan combination of an SH-4b JB Model humbucker at the bridge and an SH-2n Jazz pickup in neck position. Hand-wound and made in the United States, the market leader's pickups feature Alnico 5 magnets and provide a well-balanced output with convincing punch without giving up dynamic headroom. Last but not least, both pickups can be switched to single coil mode via Mini Switch.
Of course, no expense has been spared when it comes to the hardware: the noble guitar, which is fully equipped with high-quality Schaller parts, features a GTM piezo bridge with tailpieces from GraphTech, solid Schaller M6 clamp machine heads with backlocking function and security locks already installed at the factory for danger-free stage performances. Naturally, all hardware parts are plated with 24-carat gold. When we say premium hardware, we mean it!
Includes Schaller Security Locks, adjustment key and manual!
The high-quality instruments of the Fame Forum Custom series are delivered in the stylish Fame Historic Electric Guitar Case.
