The MPM-3500R is a high-quality ribbon microphone from Marantz that captures every detail, from the subtle nuances ofstring instruments to rock vocals and percussion. The MPM-3500R's low-mass ribbon pickup diaphragm is specifically designed to highlight the extremely fine details that conventional microphones often overlook, while the sound is consistently warm and natural, but never hard or shrill. Thanks to its high-quality components and construction, the MPM-3500R is also a durable microphone with high sensitivity, low noise and wide dynamic range. The 8-directional pattern makes it possible to place the ribbon microphone between two instruments and record both equally. At higher levels you can also add a practical -10dB pad, as well as a low cut for distracting bass frequencies. Case, shock mount and pop filter are included.
