The DW Performance Fusion Shell Set Tobacco is a 4-piece drum shell set, featuring Remo drumheads, maple shells, and consists of a 22"x18" bass drum, 10"x8" and 12"x9" tom toms, and a 14"x12" floor tom. The Performance Fusion Series represents DW drums through and through. No compromises were made when it came to constructing the low-mass cast claws, a new badge, and hand-lacquering - all the features of a high-end series.

The shells of the Performance Series feature a new layer orientation concept called HVX. Layers of high-quality hard rock maple from North American are set to each other either vertically or horizontally. This produces an impressive, deep, ground sound with a strong attack as well as a ton of resonance and sustain. The DW Performance Set is ideally suited for stage performances, but also great for recording in the studio.

As usual, DW offers players the possibility to realise their own personal desires. The popular lugs from the DW Drums are slightly smaller and not completely round on the Performance Series, which doesn't hurt its appearance. The Suspension Tom Mount system delivers maximum vibration capabilities and a secure hold while allowing the full sound development of the tom shell. True Pitch lugs are included to further optimize the tuning behaviour.
