This Roland V-02HD is a multi-format video mixer that combines several individual devices: a simple switcher, a high-quality scaler, an input expander, an audio solution and the use of inline video effects and compositing. The high Roland V-02HD performance is so compact that it fits in most equipment cases and camera bags. For easy integration into the usual workflows of video production, it Roland V-02HD has a thread for standard video tripods and allows convenient mounting on a tripod so as not to interfere with handles and operations. With its light and slim design, it Roland V-02HD also presents itself as the perfect partner for mobile video applications. In combination with additional battery packs from third-party suppliers, even longer location recordings are no problem.
Simple, seamless switching
With the Live Switching functions of the Roland V-02HD you can record on site or stream and present an immediate result. This Roland V-02HD enables the processing and seamless switching of two HDMI camera signals to a connected recorder or livestream encoder. The operator can then switch between the two cameras using dedicated push-buttons - if necessary even using a separate foot switch to operate the camera at the same time. Furthermore, not only the audio signals from both cameras, but also from external sources can be Roland V-02HD mixed and monitored via the headphone output. You can then integrate the finished mix into the video signal and play it out via HDMI.
This Roland V-02HD enables professional cross-dissolve transitions between computers and screens with high-resolution, pixel-accurate resolution and a 10-bit 4:4:4 color space. Thanks to the simple operation via just two buttons, even inexperienced users who are Roland V-02HD working with it for the first time can switch several adjacent sources professionally. Finally, the Roland V-02HB with its input and output scalers can process HD and computer resolutions, adapt to the respective screen size and play in the correspondingly changed resolution.
With this you Roland V-02HD can not only embed analog audio signals in an HDMI signal, for example for recordings or live streams, but also extract audio tracks from an HDMI signal to send them to a separate audio mixer. Many converters only support digital audio tracks or can handle either embedding or de-embedding only. It Roland V-02HD combines all these functions in a single device.
It Roland V-02HD has a built-in 3-band EQ and dynamics processor that can process and optimize audio signals without sending them directly to an external mixer. The built-in effects library includes presets for the most common production scenarios, including interviews, recording ambient noise, and eliminating wind noise during outdoor shooting. You can even apply the effects to inline HDMI signals to fix audio problems without leaving the digital world.

In addition, it Roland V-02HD has two valuable additional inputs with extremely low latency. In this way, there are no delays in the perception of incoming camera signals. Plus, the high-resolution 10-bit 4:4:4 color space ensures that your signals are displayed without loss.
Time-saving, professional real-time effects
Adding effects via the internal effects section is quick and easy. But more complex effects, such as blurred faces for privacy reasons, require time and advanced knowledge of the respective video editor software. Another possibility is to put the effect directly on the camera output and record it as well. It Roland V-02HD features 14 real-time assignable visual effects including adjustable parameters as well as five additional compositing effects. In this way you can display titles, use greenscreens via the key effect or create a separate inset window thanks to picture-in-picture functionality.
