The perfect metal sound library

Metal Mania EZX is acomprehensive sound library extension for EZdrummer 3, which can also be loaded into Superior Drummer 3. Developed in collaboration with drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) and sound engineer Chris Rakestraw (Megadeth, Deftones, Parkway Drive), it offers a wide selection of authentic and powerful sounds for metal and hard rock productions. The recordings took place in the legendary Studio A at One or One Studios in Los Angeles - a studio known for iconic albums such as Metallica's "Black Album" and especially predestined for the sonic requirements of metal drums.

Included in this EZX library are four unique drum kits, each with five toms made from different woods to achieve different sonic characters. The selection includes Dirk's current touring setup with Megadeth, a kit from his time with Soilwork and another that offers an alternative sound and expands the sound spectrum of Library. A total of nine double kicks, eleven snares, twenty toms and thirty-four cymbals are available, providing a wide range of applications in metal and beyond.

In addition to the samples, 31 ready-to-mix kit presets are included which, together with a large selection of drum grooves, fills and songs, provide a quick introduction to production. The samples are optimally prepared for dense and aggressive mixes, but can also be used in a dynamic and detailed way.
