In order to become more involved in the field of PA equipment and sound reinforcement systems, the Italian company AEB Industriale s.r.l. created the dB Technologies brand in 1990 - with great success: Today, dB Technologies products are sold in more than 160 countries around the world and stand for forward-thinking technology, first-class sound and a convincing price/performance ratio.
This success story is largely based on the pursuit of innovation and progress that has always distinguished AEB Industriale s.r.l.. Considerable investments in the three core areas
ensure that the products of dB Technologies always have their finger on the pulse and are often one step ahead of the competition. The power amplifiers for the active PA solutions, for example, are now almost exclusively designed and developed internally and, in addition, often individually adapted to the respective products. In view of this, it is not surprising that the active speaker systems are among the most successful products in the dB Technologies portfolio.
One result of dB Technologies' tireless research is the DVA series, the name standing for "Digital Vertical Array", which was introduced in 2004. As line array systems with high user-friendliness, extremely lightweight construction and great flexibility, the series set standards in the pro audio industry.
High quality standards and an attention to detail are two further features that distinguish dB Technologies. Meticulous quality controls already take place during production, and the finished products are then also meticulously tested for function and reliability for several hours - all this while still ending up with an affordable price.
Last but not least, the decades of experience of the umbrella company AEB Industriale and the founder Arturo Vicari naturally flow into the products of dB Technologies. Founded in 1974 in Bologna, Italy, the company is now part of the RCF Group, after Vicari bought the leading loudspeaker manufacturer RCF in 2004.

In 2000, dB Technologies chose Cologne as the location for a sales office for its own products and those of its sister company RCF. Since then, dB Technologies Deutschland GmbH has been responsible for Germany, Austria and the BeNeLux states and looks after partners and specialist customers, for example from the retail trade.

The OPERA series offers active PA speakers that combine high performance, sophisticated DSP functions and specially developed acoustic designs. Easy to transport and with powerful, lively sound, OPERA speakers are ideal for live events and concerts of all kinds.
