First, let us confirm once again that the Music Store service is amazing. I ordered this on Sunday evening, and I received it at noon in Luxembourg on Tuesday. Pristine condition.
After that, the brown guitar case, purple insides, is a joy to see. And finally, ZE GUITAR. What an amazing look. No photo can do it justice, all silver and shiny. Typically heavy. No defect at all in any detail I could check. Initial soundcheck was perfect, although I need to change strings and action. I ll check it later with the pedals and various amps, but man, I cant believe it, I finally have one.
For this price, you get a real LP made in USA, and a stunner too (not one of those leftovers with strange colours they sometimes put up for sale).
Happy customer.
I already wrote a review but anyway, no change of mind. First, I had never seen a silver Les Paul from Gibson and this in itself makes it rather original. The looks are stunning. The brown case has purple interior. The opening ceremony is thus quite a thrill. The guitar comes perfectly set up (for me), only needed a tuning. THe finish is spotless, no paint blemish, overrun, nothing at all. Plug it in a Marshall as it should and it rings, does not disappoint (mind you, this is my first real G, although I have plenty of Fender, Epiphone, Ibanez). Really good stuff. Now I need to test it more fully with the other amps and all the settings, but I would recommend to just jump on this bargain. A real big G at this price, with an unusual look, I cant imagine it gets any better than this.
