This amp has great tone and versatility and has a very recognisable variety of tones (Slash, Joe Bonamassa, but also Marshall plexi tones).
And the 5W and 20W switch is a great option. Ideal for playing at home and at rehearsals with the band and medium sized gigs. It really is loud enough!
The only thing is, when you want to use it as a channel switching amp, you have to seek a compromise in gain settings as this is shared between the clean and lead channel. With a high output guitar (e.g. Les Paul) it is more difficult to achieve both clean and fat gain tones. Fender Strat is easier.
It does clean well.
For songs where I need clean and switching to gain, I set gain around 4 and work with a booster when I switch to gain parts (so pressing footswitch and booster at the same time). This works quite well.
