Informacje o produkcie - Ortega R225G-7/8

Spanish classical guitar with shortened scale length

The Ortega R225G-7/8 convinces with its compact size, which is excellent for children, or even for travel. In addition, the instrument produces a powerful and at the same time warm sound, which already unfolds with light strokes over a wide area. The flat neck also offers excellent playability in all 18 frets. With the help of the chrome-plated classical tun ers, the 6 nylon strings can be tuned easily and precisely. In addition, the millimetre-precisely coordinated Hardware ensures clean intonation over the entire 612 mm scale length. Visually, the guitar is refined by a gossamer-thin high-gloss finish that tastefully accentuates the multi-faceted grain of the tonewoods used. The scope of delivery includes a robust bag

Construction and woods

Thanks to a solid top made of cedar, the classical guitar develops extensive bass and midrange frequencies that are enriched with a pleasant warmth. Back and sides made of laminated granadillo provide a fast response, so that a powerful sound can be elicited from the Ortega R225G-7/8 with ease. The short mahogany neck is equipped with a coarse grained rosewood fingerboard, which is easy to reach in all frets and has enough space to handle even complex fingering patterns.

Hardware and Design

The headstock of the guitar is fitted with smooth-running classic tuners that allow for clean tuning of the strings. In addition, the finely notched 48 mm wide nut and saddle are optimally matched to ensure that the instrument intonates perfectly. The palisander bridge has 12 holes where the string ends can be easily knotted. In addition to filigree bindings made of maple, the top is equipped with a mosaic-like soundhole rosette, which harmonizes excellently with the color of the back of the body.
