Singers and speakers will be more than happy about the DHT800 handheld transmitter from AKG. Not only is it light, easy to use and, thanks to its metal housing, very robust, it also impresses with its technology, possibilities and reliability; the special feature of the digital reference transmitter is the interchangeable microphone head to adapt the sound to the respective voice or situation. The AKG microphone heads D5 WL1, D7 WL1 or C5 WL1 can be exchanged and tested in no time at all.
The DHT-800 is used in combination with the DSR800 receiver, which also operates with an extremely large switching bandwidth of up to 150 MHz and ensures stable transmission power. Of course, the transmitter must not be without an antenna, which is why AKG has opted for the Helical with reliable, digital audio transmission. Depending on the frequency band, there is a transmission power of 10-50mW. 512 bit encryption protects the audio signal from eavesdropping and an integrated mute switch, which can be set as a mains switch.
