Due to its solid mango wood construction, the Flight Fireball Tenor EQ-A transports a warm and midrange-rich tone that is quite comparable to the sound characteristics of koa woods. In addition, the exceptional tenor ukulele includes several specifications that are not only visually but also functionally convincing. An armrest made of maple provides a comfortable playing feel and an additional sound hole in the rib passes the sound directly to the player. Easy playability is ensured by a flat mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, which is equipped with 19 frets that are easy to grip in combination with a cutaway and a generous nut width of 38 mm. Probably the most striking part of the instrument is the open headstock, which is equipped with precise open-gear tuners whose position allows for a straight string path, ensuring greater tuning stability. The instrument is rounded off with a Double C1U pickup system, which brings out the warmth and balance of the acoustic sound, even when amplified.
