The Guild Jumbo Junior Bass Natural is a handy, fully-equipped, short-scale acoustic bass that combines high-quality construction and easy playability at an extremely attractive price. Despite its handy size, this acoustic bass featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and a laminated flamed maple body convinces with an impressively sonorous tone that delivers the right groove for every acoustic session.

The compact Guild Jumbo Junior Bass Natural convinces with its mature bass tone and stage-ready features.

The Guild Jumbo Junior Bass features an arched back made of laminated flamed maple.

Guild Jumbo Junior Bass: Traditional woods

In constructing the Jumbo Junior Bass, Guild uses a combination of woods that have been used for traditional double basses for several centuries. Accordingly, this compact four-string bass features an arched back and sides made of laminated flamed maple, on which a top made of solid Sitka spruce resonates. Thus this acoustic bass delivers a surprisingly mature bass tone with a sonorous low-frequency foundation and silky highs. The neck is made of maple and carries an ebony fingerboard.

The controls of the Guild/Fishman Sonitone BT-1 pickup system are unobtrusively placed in the sound hole.

Excellent playability on stage and in the studio

Thanks to the shortened 23.75" scale length (603 mm) and the comfortable neck profile, the Guild Jumbo Junior Bass also convinces with its extremely smooth playability, allowing every groove to be played with ease. Furthermore this acoustic bass is perfectly suited for use on stage and in the recording studio thanks to the built-in Guild/Fishman Sonitone BT-1 pickup system. The system delivers natural, dynamic bass output that captures every nuance of your playing. Via volume and tone controls placed inconspicuously in the sound hole, the sound can be further adjusted.
