Consisting of four maple shells in vintage construction, the Sonor ProLite Stage Set NM 422 FRD Fiery Red drum set convinces with professional quality. The Sonor drum set combines quality with modern design and perfect sound. The thin maple shells in Sonor Vintage construction (4 mm/6 mm) are glued tension-free in the CLTF process and built with a reinforcement ring. The sound is characterized by resonance, balance and focused attack. Thanks to the Optimum Shell Measurement the heads lie precisely on the 45° bearing edges. The lugs are equipped with the Sonor Tune-Safe principle, which keeps the tuning stable. Rubber lined shell hardware and the T.A.R. mounting system allow the drum shell to resonate freely.

Only selected maple wood from ecologically sustainable sources is used to manufacture ProLite shells. The nine or twelve layers are glued together for optimal durability and the best possible sound experience using the Sonor typical CLTF process and then finished with 45° bearing edges. The thickness of the ProLite maple shells is kept to a minimum (4 mm toms / 6 mm bass drum) thanks to the vintage construction, resulting in a broad sound spectrum. For additional stability the edges of the shells are fitted with a reinforcement ring. Due to the Optimum Shell Measurement - process the heads fit even better, which is noticeable by deep and warm sounds and a controlled sustain.
All hardware parts of the Sonor ProLite series are primarily used for sound support, are equipped with rubber pads and avoid metal-wood contact. Sonor's patented Tune-Safe system provides an unyielding tuning and the T.A.R. Mounting System provides even better hold with improved vibration characteristics. Various features such as the bass drum legs make it much easier to set up and fit harmoniously into the visual image of the Sonor ProLite series.
