Tascams MX-8A is a 10x10 matrix mixer with eight microphone/line inputs, eight line outputs and stereo input and output via USB, ideal for software or cloud-based conferencing systems. Equipped with a DSP processor, powerful mixing, routing and signal processing functions are available for use in meeting rooms, banqueting halls, courtrooms, restaurants and shops.
DSP Features include compressor, four-band parametric tone control, and automatic gain control for each input channel. On the output side, there is a ten-band EQ each with high/low pass filter, delay adjustment and limiter, all of which can be adjusted and stored together with the mixing and routing settings in one of the 50 scene memories. In addition, there is automatic ducking and ambient noise compensation - both functions that can be switched on as required.
It MX-8A scores with natural-sounding, high-quality microphone preamplifiers Tascam developed by us. The input level range is -77.5 dBu to +26 dBu with an equivalent input noise of less than -126 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 108 dB.
This MX-8A can be remote controlled with two different software applications for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android: With Tascam MX Connect, the matrix mixer can be configured quickly and easily by installers, while ET Connect is intended for end users and offers the most necessary, simple control elements for operation. In general, the operation is kept very simple. The apps are included in the scope of delivery.
