The CK49 reference tube condenser microphone capsule has a recording angle of 80 degrees and ensures clear reproduction even when speaking from the side. It is the ideal tool for inexperienced speakers; when the microphone is discussed from a greater distance it focuses on the speaker's voice, when discussed from a very short distance it reduces pop noise. This special capsule is a further development of the legendary CK47 capsule. As with its predecessor, AKG's unique stacking capsule technology ensures brilliant studio-quality transmission.

The CK49 capsule is protected by an extremely slim and robust metal housing. It is compatible with all gooseneck modules of the DAM+ series and the HM1000 M hanging module. The capsule is equipped with large self-cleaning and gold-plated contacts with a deep thread to avoid contact problems and to ensure a particularly long service life. The CK49 is supplied with a windshield that absorbs breath and pop noises.
