The Electro Harmonix Bass Soul Food bass guitar effects pedal brings the full organic boost and overdrive tones of the successful Soul Food and brings them to the bass player. It offers a wide range of dirty tones whilst maintaining the full integrity of the signal and character of the instrument.
The Bass Soul Food does this with several control parameters that have been designed specifically for bass.These include a 10db Pad Switch that allows for plenty of headroom for high output, active pickups. Another is a Clean Blend Knob that allows the player to get an ideal mix of driven and clean sounds. Further tonal blending is achieved with the Treble Knob. This only affects the overdrive signal letting you blend in the perfect amount of brightness and warmth.
The Bass Soul food in housed in an extremely durable, all metal housing that can live up to a life on the road. It features switchable buffered or true bypass switching and operates on 9V DC power or batteries.
