Active near field monitor

EMES offers with the GREY an excellent 2 way near field monitor in a sophisticated CDF (Compound Density Fibre) package, which consists of 3 layers (MDF, Silicone and CDF) and therefore does not have the disadvantages known for the mono packages. This leaves nothing to chance in terms of sound technology. Also important here is the "green" approach to implementation: if the speaker can no longer be used despite its longevity, the housing materials can be recycled. Another aspect is the ISO rails - a special silicone profile on the underside - which prevent the speaker from slipping, especially at higher volumes. The result is a consistently tight low end.

And of course a good sound should not be missing: This is guaranteed by the high-quality 17cm HDS driver, which has a frequency response of 59 - 2000Hz. A 25mm neodymium ring radiator with a wide wave guide provides the remaining, wide top end up to 20kHz. On the other hand, a 100W amp brings the monitor up to speed without distorting it. Not to forget the 3 x 16 dip-switches for room adjustment.
