The Engl E633 Fireball 25 head fits the concentrated high-gain power of the popular Fireball valve head into a compact enclosure that is equally suitable for recording studios, rehearsal rooms and living rooms thanks to its integrated power reduction . Depending on the setting of the gain control, the Engl's clean channel delivers crystal-clear sounds or creamy crunch, while the lead channel provides plenty of room from moderate rock distortion to a brutal high-gain metal punch. In addition to the common 3-band tone control for both channels, the head is equipped with a mid-boost . A noise gate with adjustable threshold prevents unwanted noise when playing on the lead channel. The Fireball 25 is equipped with a serial FX loop for the integration of further effect devices. The power of the power amp with two 6L6 tubes can not only be reduced step by step from 25 watts to 5 watts or 1 watt , but there even is a speaker-off mode in the Engl E633 Fireball 25 to make it completely silent.
