With the Fender American Original 50s Telecaster Lefthand, Fender evokes the classic spirit of the fifties, the golden era of the electric guitar. With vintage-correct specs from the 1950s, the American Original 50s Tele features a one-piece maple neck in a thick'U' profile and Pure Vintage '52 single coils wrapped according to a traditional recipe. Of course, the transparent butterscotch blonde lacquering over the ash body is also a must for a genuine Fifties Tele!

Original Ash Body
With original dimensions, the body of the Fender American Original 50s Telecaster is made of lightweight and recognizably grained ash and evokes the proven Slab Body Feeling of the early Teles. In addition, the body and neck are finished with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This not only produces the well-known smooth handling, but also allows the enclosed wood to breathe with resonant sound.
Pure Vintage '52 Single Coils
Fenders Pure Vintage '52 Single Coils used in the American Original Series are the result of the meticulous search for historically correct production steps of the early Fifties pickups. From fabric-covered connecting cables and traditional enamelled winding wire to the use of Alnico 3 magnets, the pickups produce raw and punchy chip sounds with the famous Fender-Trebles.
