In addition to the ergonomically shaped alder body, the electric guitar features a bolt-on roasted-maple AZ Oval C neck and a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard. An HSS setup with Seymour Duncan Fortuna pickups developed specifically for this guitar provides finely resolved sounds with lively dynamics at the guitar amplifier, with the dyna-MIX9 circuitry providing a wide variety of tonal colors. High-quality hardware in the form of a T1702B tremolo and precise locking tuners from Gotoh complete the Prestige AZ2204N-AWD Antique White Blonde from Ibanez.
For the Prestige AZ2204N's optimized bolt-on construction, Ibanez relies on premium tonewoods that promise a lively sound. While the alder body with generous contours sits comfortably against the body, the flowing Super All-Access neck joint guarantees unhindered reach to the highest registers.
The bolt-on neck made of S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple with its pleasantly rounded AZ Oval C profile is extremely comfortable so that on the rosewood fingerboard with compound radius and stainless steel fretting every solo or riff play as if by themself.
The Ibanez Prestige AZ2204N's electrical tone conversion is handled by an HSS setup from California-based pickup winder Seymour Duncan, designed specifically for this model. Equipped with alnico magnets and a moderate output, the Seymour Duncan Fortuna single-coils in neck and mid positions together with the Fortuna humbucker placed at the bridge provide natural vintage tones with finely balanced basses, mids and highs that also capture subtle nuances in playing and transmit them to the guitar amp. The Ibanez dyna-MIX9 circuit with classic 5-way switch and Alter switch promises a particularly rich palette of musical timbres for lively clean and overdrive sounds through flexible switching options.
Last but not least, an optimally tuned hardware equipment completes the Ibanez Prestige AZ2204N-AWD Antique White Blonde. Set with five springs resting on the body, the Gotoh T1702B tremolo with brass tailpieces and block supports the lively vintage character of the electric guitar, but also allows smooth down-bends for harmonic tone embellishments.
