The Kawai CN 37 B is a realistic digital piano capable of producing sounds reminiscent of the best grand pianos on the market. Containing an 88-note keyboard, this piano will never require tuning and features useful and helpful characteristics to enable a good learning experience, but is advanced enough to benefit players or every skill level.
This new CN Series of digital pianos features class-leading Responsive Hammer III action on the keyboard that recreates the touch of an acoustic grand piano. This, as well as the inclusion of counterweights within each key facilitates a realistic movement and a rigid, springless design that provides a smooth and natural playing experience.
The CN 37 is equipped with a triple-sensor key detection system that enhances responsiveness and accuracy. Additionally structural reinforcements throughout the action assembly assist to minimise noise and key wobble during staccato and fortissimo passages.
The keys of the CN 37 feature Kawai’s Ivory Touch surfaces as a standard. This finely textured material absorbs any fingertip perspiration gently and oils to assist playing control. With a natural, matte finish that is smooth but not slippery, these keytops can be wiped clean easily using just a damp cloth.
The inclusion of the Virtual Technician feature allows pianists to shape aspects of the piano’s tonal character and playability to suit their own unique preferences, as well as storing your favourite setups for recall. A Vocal Assist function with speech output helps the user find the function they are looking for. Additionally Sound Preview helps you find any sound easily.
A convenient lesson function is included that enables any aspiring pianist to learn their craft through classical etudes and songs from the Alfred course books. There is also a feature called Concert Magic that encourages any player (even those who do not play the piano) to enjoy creating music by just tapping the keyboard with a steady, rhythmical beat.
The CN Series’ Spatial Headphone Sound technology enhances the depth and realism of the CN 37’s various sounds when using headphones or earphones. The CN Series also features integrated Bluetooth MIDI technology, allowing this digital piano to communicate with supported smart devices wirelessly. This is in addition to a USB-to-host port and MIDI ports.
The CN 37 contains a digital effects engine that enhances the superior core sounds of this piano whilst studio-quality reverb allows pianists to position themselves within a variety of acoustic environments. Furthermore a 4-way speaker system is designed specifically to reproduce the harmonic spectrum of an acoustic piano.
