The Laserworld EL-230RGB MKII is a multicolored and impressive white light laser. The laser from Laserworld is plug & play capable and controllable via DMX. The laser has a total power of up to 230 mW and can reproduce 7 colors including white.
The red laser diode with a wavelength of 650 nm, the green DPSS laser diode with a wavelength of 532 nm and the royal blue laser diode with a wavelength of 445 nm ensure bright beams and beautiful colors. The laser beams have a diameter of about 4 mm and a beam divergence of about 1 mrad. The projector has high-speed stepper motors with 2-5 kpps and has a scan angle of up to 30°.
In the laser are 50 preset basic patterns, such as planes, tunnels, grids, waves, etc. can be controlled via DMX, but in addition a sound-to-light mode and a stand-alone mode are available. For the sound-to-light mode the sensitivity of the integrated and adjustable microphone can be adjusted.
On the back of this very compact device there is an interlock connector for the safety switch as well as a key switch.
Due to the strong bundling of the laser beam, the entire light energy is concentrated on a small area. If the human eye is hit by this beam, this can cause damage. In particular, there is a risk of eye injury when looking directly into the beam. If the beam is deflected, which is almost always the case with compact show laser systems due to the scanning unit, the effect and thus the danger of the beam is much lower. In accordance with the possible danger, lasers and devices containing a laser are divided into classes according to the accident prevention regulation for laser radiation [BGV B2]. 99% of the compact show lasers currently available on the market and also all lasers offered by us belong to protection class 3a and 3b. These devices are therefore subject to approval. For safe operation at public events, a laser protection officer [radiation protection according to VBG 93 §6 (BGV-B2)] must be appointed. In the case of installations in public buildings (discotheques, multi-purpose halls, restaurants, etc.), the systems must be approved by the locally responsible TÜV (Technical Inspection Agency) or the Employer's Liability Insurance Association. The regulations valid in Germany for the operation of a show laser system must be observed. Please inform yourself about this at your local professional association and the responsible TÜV company.
