The Mapex Mars 529S Rock Fusion RW is a five piece drum kit comprised of a 22”x18” bass drum, a 10”x7” and a 12”x8” rack tom, a 16”x14” floor tom, a 14”x6.5” snare drum, a double tom holder that mounts on the bass drums and either kit matched black plate or chrome hardware, including a P600 pedal, an H600EB hi-hat stand, an S600EB snare stand and two B600EB boom stands. This kit comes in a Bloodwood finish.

Mars Series Drums Key Features
SONIClear Bearing Edge – A more rounded connecting edge between the shell and the head that allows for a flushing fitting, easier tuning, better shell resonance, a clearer fundamental pitch and more tonal clarity.
SONIClear Suspension System – A shock absorbing system on the rack toms that reduces energy transmission through the hardware and ensures the maximum amount of oscillation remains within the shell and head.
Insulated Bass Drum Claws – Similar to the SONIClear Suspension System, these insulated claws help to isolate the energy from the bass drum by decoupling it from the hardware and preventing rattling or buzzing.
High Grade Wooden Design – all the shells in the Mars Series are made from 100% Birch 6-Ply which is incredibly sturdy and ensures the essential frequencies from a given drums are projected efficiently instead of the energy being lost through undesirable shell and head vibrations.
Black Electro-Plating Process – A much more durable finish that the traditional powder-coating.
Matching Snare Drum – the Mars Series kits come with a matched snare drum to give a unified look and tonally matched sound across the whole kit.
SMPS – stands for ‘ultra efficient switched mode power supplies’. This ensures optimum performance of the monitor even when plugged into poor quality power supplies.
