The Mapex Storm Stage Pro Pack complete set in Deep Black is a complete starter package for drummers. The package includes a stable hardware package from the 400 series, the high-quality Zildjian ZBT cymbal set and a comfortable throne. The Mapex Storm shells are made of 9 plies of poplar wood and are 7.2 mm thick. Thanks to the SONIClear bearing edges and the solid black shell hardware as well as the Single Point Contact lugs, the Storm Stage Pro Pack is the ideal choice for drum students who value great sound and durable hardware and cymbals right from the start.
The Storm series from Mapex already has some professional features in the entry-level segment, such as the SONIClear bearing edges and Single Point Contact lugs. The drum shells consist of 9 layers of poplar wood with a thickness of 7.2 mm, thus creating a balanced and multi-layered sound. The SONIClear bearing edges can also be found in the Mapex high-end Saturn V series. The special thing about this feature is that the edge is cut from both sides, so the head has a better contact to the shell and can be tuned much easier and more constant. In addition, the sustain of the drum shell increases significantly and the low frequencies become more present. The Single Point Contact lugs in black reduce the contact from the shell to the hardware to a minimum, so the sound can unfold ideally. The noble Deep Black finish also rounds off the overall appearance perfectly.
The 400 series hardware from Mapex is versatile, adjustable and very stable thanks to the double-braced base. The package consists of the bass drum pedal P400, the hi-hat stand H400, a snare stand S400 and two cymbal stands B400 and C400, all in black. The Mapex throne with round seat is infinitely height-adjustable and guarantees a safe and healthy sitting position.
Zildjian Bronze Technology: This name hides behind the three legendary letters. For many years, this series has accompanied drummers at the beginning of their careers. The ZBT cymbals are made of a B8 bronze alloy, which is 92% copper and 8% tin. They are mechanically hammered and lathed on both sides in a special process.
