The Marantz Audio Scope SG-5BC is a battery-powered shotgun microphone with integrated cable. It is a replacement for the internal microphones of DSLR cameras and improves the recording quality considerably through its use. Due to its switchable directional characteristic (supercardioid/cardioid) it has a relatively narrow pickup range and thus excellent filtering of interference noise, its short interference tube, the power supply via batteries and the integrated cable with 3.5mm jack plug make it extremely easy to handle.
