Martin Guitars 000-18

The reworked Martin 000-18 from the Standard Series is all about classically built acoustic guitars in the 000 style. The luthier from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, uses traditional features from the pre-war models, such as a solid Sitka spruce top with aging toner and solid mahogany back and sides. The result is powerful sounding mids and clearly resolving trebles that give the Martin 000-18 its unmistakable voice. From a technical point of view, the Martin 000-18 features the well-known Modified Low Oval neck profile, which should delight fans of traditional Martin acoustic guitars in all registers. Last but not least, the Martin 000-18 features a nut and saddle made of bone and open-gear tuners in a nickel finish made of high-quality add-on parts. In addition, this Triple-0 is equipped with the L.R. Baggs EB Anthem pickup, which transmits the guitar's outstanding sound to an amplifier with natural balance and dynamics.
