Martin Guitars D-28E Standard (Natural)
is a 6-String Electro-Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar with Vintage Mechanisms, a tinted top, a Faux Tortoise Pickguard and a slightly flatter Neck profile for a modern and comfortable playing feel, alongside a Fishman Sonitone Pick-Up for stage use. Sometimes innovation is in the detail and this certainly also applies to the D-28E. For almost a century the legendary D-28 has shaped the music of musicians and has been loved and appreciated by legends such as the Beatles, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Neil Young and Bob Dylan as an inspirational workhorse.
The solid Martin D-28E is presented with a Sitka Spruce Top and an East Indian Rosewood Body. This Dreadnought resonates with tight and defined basses, nuanced and vocal mids, as well as silvery and brilliant highs. The well-balanced sound spectrum has made the D-28 very popular, especially for recording, because the legendary D-28 is considered to be the most recorded Guitar in the world and has shaped our listening habits. This makes the D-28E ideal for powerful Vocal accompaniment with strumming or flat-picking, whilst a compensated bone Bridge Inlay ensures clean intonation and flat string position. The amplified sound on-stage is provided by the Fishman Sonitone, which possesses natural and dynamic sound reproduction. The Nickel-Plated Open Tuners, an antique white Binding, the tinted Top and the Faux Tortoise Pickguard complete the chic vintage look. A Moulded Hard-Shell Case is provided to protect your Instrument during transportation.
