With the Martin D-41 Standard Series , the traditional American manufacturer from Nazareth Pennsylvania presents a beautifully decorated dreadnought acoustic guitar that produces an assertive and defined sound which develops completely and warmly even with light hits. Thanks to its all solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top framed with abalone bindings and a body made of East Indian rosewood , this high-quality instrument produces rich mid and high frequencies, complemented by clear and defined basses. For clean and comfortable playability, the almost 200-year-old company relies on a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard , which can be played up to the highest of the 20 frets effortlessly due to its generous nut width of 44.45 mm . The carefully crafted bone nut and corresponding saddle ensure perfect intonation over the complete scale length of 645 mm . Fine abalone reduced-hexagon inlays in combination with precise golden open-gear tuners and the characteristic abalone company logo emphasize the high value of this exceptionally well made guitar. A sturdy case is included with the instrument.
