The Martin DX1AE Macassar Burst is a chic dreadnought acoustic guitar from the Mexican X-Series with an eye-catching sunburst finish and excellent sound qualities. The body is constructed with a solid sitka spruce top on the back and sides made of HPL (high pressure laminates) with Macassar look, which produce a powerful and balanced sound that shapes the guitar into a perfect singer-songwriter instrument. A high-grip rust-birch laminate neck with a Richlite fretboard offers the player an extremely high level of playing comfort and, combined with a scale length of 645 mm and a nut width of 44.5 mm, allows easy access to all 20 frets. In order to reproduce a more natural sound, the manufacturer uses a Fishman Sonitone pickup system, which is equipped with a volume and tone control located in the sound hole of the Martin DX1AE Macassar Burst guitar.
