Drum module

Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteritas Alter Silver is a drum module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. BIA is based on an additive synthesizer with six digital oscillators with adjustable waveform, harmonic spread and decay. The Attack Phase is adjustable and a Noise oscillator is also included. BIA offers three different synthesis modes, a wavefolder and the individual oscillators can be detuned against each other, creating a diverse drum sound palette. As a special feature, the module has its own parameter for "Harmonic", which determines how many oscillators arrive at output and how long they sound. All parameters of the Basimilus Iteritas Alter, like pitch, attack or decay, can be controlled via CV.

Three different synthesis modes:

Skin works like an additive synthesizer, simulating simple membrane drum sounds. The vibrations of the drum sounds do not interact with each other.
Liquid is similar to the first synthesis mode Skin, but the generated sounds have a much more present and hard attack, as well as a Pitch envelope.
Metal, on the other hand, is a type of FM synthesizer that produces wacky metallic-atonal sounds. These are particularly well suited for cymbals and hi-hats.
