TC Electronic Thrust BQ500

The TC Electronic Thrust BQ500 combines enormous power reserves and extremely useful features in an ultra-compact and easily portable cabinet format. This 500W class-D amplifier head weighs just over 2kg and can be used with any existing bass speaker with at least 4 Ohm impedance thanks to the Speaker Twist connection. In addition the Thrust BQ500 features a switchable compressor, 4-band equalizer with 2x mid frequencies and multiple connections for headphones, auxiliary equipment and a balanced XLR output.

Thrust Comp
In addition to the ability to adjust the input section to active and passive pick-ups via a switch, the BQ500's switchable Thrust Compressor offers additional possibilities to optimize the dynamics and response of the incoming signal. When activated, the single knob compressor polishes the dynamic range of the bass signal to add punch and warmth to the sound.

Aux In & Balanced Out
The Thrust BQ500 is ideal for both rehearsals and professional recording sessions, as demonstrated by its extensive rear panel connectivity. For rehearsals and jams, backing tracks and songs can easily be played back via the Aux input, while the symmetrical DI-out in XLR format delivers crystal-clear sounds for professional recording tracks or easily passes them on to the FoH console.
