The STAR Shells
The shells of this Limited Edition consist of solid Zebrawood with a thickness of 7mm. Additional stability is provided by 7mm thick reinforcement rings (Sound Focus) incorporated at the top and bottom of the shells. For the finish you have the choice between “Charcoal Zebrawood Burst” or cooler “Indigo Zebrawood Burst”.
The STAR Shell-Hardware
These special shells are naturally also equipped with the matching hardware. Solid lugs with minimal shell contact reduces the weight of the Star Zebrawood Snare even further. The cast zinc hoops are exceptionally well crafted and ensure for an absolutely balanced distribution of tension, so that these Star Snares only require 8 tensioning bolts per side to further help facilitate weight loss. They are quipped with Hold Tight Washers which prevent the bolts from loosening on their own during play. The Linear Drive Strainers takes care of all your snare adjustment worries. The throw-off reliably hold the snares in place at a 30° angle, is easy to engage and delivers incremental and secure tension of the snares through a ratcheted thread.
