Progressive Metal MIDI by Toontrack is a MIDI drum loop package optimized for use in EZdrummer and Superior Drummer. This bundle of more than four hundred individual files covers the technically demanding subgenre of progressive metal and rock. The drum grooves and fills were recorded by TesseracT drum icon Jay Postones and include both 4/4 and 6/8 styles. The speed range is between 95 and 156 BPM. This MIDI package is intended to be used with Toontrack's software options EZdrummer or Superior Drummer and is therefore freely editable for an individual sound.
With this varied package of finest drum loops from progressive metal and rock, you combine the subtle nuances of jazz with raw, unbridled force of driving metal beats to a polyrhythmic unit in your projects, which immediately creeps under your skin and tickles your synapses. The style is loosely based on the band catalogue of the progressive size TesseracT, but thanks to the adjustment possibilities and free editability in Toontrack's software solutions EZdrummer and Superior Drummer you can also create very individual, never heard grooves.
