The DTX502 Series defines the mid-range of the E-Drums from Yamaha and promises professional sounds and features for players with a restricted budget. The DTX502 Series combines its high-performance trigger module with professionally equipped drum kits and brings Yamaha's world class acoustic drum history together with the newest music and sampling technology.
The DTX502 sound module delivers brand new Rock, Jazz and Electronic drum kits. The prize-winning AWM2 sound generator (Advanced Wave Memory) ensure for powerful, dynamic and above all realistic sounds. Even the DTX-Pads were redesigned and can now present themselves with even further improved playability as well as a significantly broader dynamic range. These pads are very quiet and recently earned the internationally recognized Quiet Mark prize.
The DTX582K e-drum kit is the flag ship of the DTX502 series. The silicone pads for snare and toms and the new KP100 kick pad offers a play feeling that comes very close to its acoustic ancestors. Additionally, in contrast with comparable e-drums in this price class, it can convince with greater stability, which brings the playability closer to that of an acoustic drum.
