The Yamaha TRBX604FM Matte Amber is a 4-string bass guitar with double maple top, double coil pickups and active on-board electronics. The TRBX604FM brings a breath of fresh air to the popular TRBX range with its chic maple top. Designed in the recognisable TRBX style, the Alder body combines sleek lines with optimal playing comfort, whilst the bolt-on maple mahogany neck fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. There are also 2x Yamaha YGD Dual Coil pickups and an active 3-band tone control for audio variety through an amplifier (which can be deactivated if necessary). Last but not least, the Yamaha TRBX604 has a massive bass bridge and precise Die-Cast tuners.
Elegant Lines with Flamed Maple
The Alder body combines elegant lines with an optimized balance that promises a comfortable playing position, alongside a five-piece maple slim profile Mahogany neck, and Rosewood fingerboard. A Burr Maple top and headstock overlay set the instrument off perfectly.
YGD Pickups & Active Electronics
When played through an amp, the Yamaha TRBX604 proves to be an extremely versatile electric bass guitar. The Yamaha YGD Dual Coil Pickups, which capture every string with 4x Alnico Pole Pieces, provide an open, balanced sound that skilfully captures dynamics and nuance. An active optimally tuned 3-band tone control always delivers musical results even in extreme boosts and cuts. If necessary, the equalizer can also be bypassed to use the clear passive sound of the bass.
High-Quality Hardware
The TRBX604FM Matte Amber is equipped with hard-wearing and high-quality hardware such as the High-Mass Die-Cast Bridge used on the body, whose extremely solid design supports sustain and sound development. 4x individual saddles allow optimal adjustment of intonation and strings, and the headstock holds Yamaha Die-Cast tuners for perfect tonality.
