On board is a touch-sensitive, motorized fader with 12-bit resolution that automatically assumes the status of the selected channel in the DAW. The feel alone brings back the "analog feel" to what is often a very digital work environment. Furthermore, automations can be conveniently driven and recalled. And if we're being honest, it's pretty fun to watch the fader move on its own!
The controller also features a customizable touchscreen display that is used to control five color-coded command levels in your DAW. Here, the 4" display shows 16 fields with up to 80 activatable functions that you can assign via free iMapTM software . This gives you quick access to a wide variety of controls at the touch of a button. Another display is used to show channel names, control values, measured values, etc., while the 12-segment LED is for timecode or the position of your project.
Various illuminated buttons let you use further features for music productions of all kinds - be it a complete transport panel with Play, Stop, Rec, Rewind, Fast Forward and Loop, a mode for targeted editing of plug-in/EQ parameters of your DAW or navigation via jogwheel. Even switching between up to three DAWs is possible.

Der Controller ist hochwertig verarbeitet und ist dank der umfangreichen Programmiermöglichkeiten perfekt einsetzbar. Im Prinzip erhält man eine Mischung aus Faderport/X-Touch One, einem Loupedeck und 8 frei konfigurierbaren Encodern.
Das einzige kleine Manko, das ich bis jetzt feststellen konnte ist, dass der Fader im Stillstand hin und wieder leichte Motor-Geräusche von sich gibt. Ich werde die nächsten Wochen noch abwarten, ob das per Firmware gefixt wird.
Mein erster DAW-Controller und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Neben der Maus und Tastatur, habe ich mit dem Controller endlich ein weitere Steuerungsmöglichkeit, die meine Hände schonen, da nicht alles mit der Maus angeklickt werden muss.
Es ist für einen Neuling dank der Erklär- und Installationsvideos absolut händelbar.
