The Fender The Trapper at a glance

The Fender The Trapper Dual Fuzz is the ideal basis for flexible fuzz sounds with extensive sound shaping possibilities. For this purpose, The Trapper has been equipped with two discrete Fuzz voices, and covers the tonal palette of the fuzz effect from gently singing Fuzz to synth-like experiments. The operation remains very simple and relies on global controls for Tone and Contour to select the center frequency and the high rolloff, while both fuzz circuits can be adjusted via separate level controls. The former offers smooth sounds, while the second circuit with interactive Noise Gate provides brute Fuzz sounds and experimental glitch sounds. In addition, The Trapper Dual Fuzz features an Octave switch which, when activated, adds a higher octave to the signal for wide-ranging synthesiser sounds.
