The Höfner Icon Violin Guitar Black is an instrument with an exceptionally rich and storied heritage. While Paul McCartney made the four-string bass version world-famous, the violin guitar remains a well-kept secret among guitarists seeking the iconic sixties tones of the beat era. Built according to the traditional principles of violin making, the body features a spruce top paired with a maple back and sides, while the two-piece maple neck is fitted with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard for a smooth playing experience. The real highlight, however, lies in the two Höfner Ignition Staple pickups. Positioned at the neck and bridge, these humbuckers deliver the authentic vintage character of the 1950s and 1960s, combining warmth and clarity with excellent noise resistance thanks to their double-coil design.
