The Impact LX49 mk3 from Nektar is an extensively equipped DAW controller and master keyboard with full NKS compatibility. The clearly laid out interface has space for 8 faders, 8 velocity-sensitive pads, eight smooth-running knobs and plenty of buttons for direct access to various functions. The keyboard has an easy-to-play, typical synthesizer keyboard with 49 keys, is sturdily built and is equally suitable for use on stage and in the studio. The 8 velocity-sensitive pads are ideal for recording accentuated drums and percussion. There are various basic settings for the faders and controls, which can be configured as required. Thanks to the transport function, global DAW functions such as start/stop, recording and metronome can be controlled directly from the Impact LX49 mk3. This also includes the DAW looper, which can be used to repeat passages from the arrangement at will. Other highlights include a chord function that allows you to play entire Chords with just one finger. There is also a scale mode that allows you to play unusual scales with pinpoint accuracy. Nektar has placed great emphasis on comprehensive DAW integration in the Impact LX mk3, including full NKS compatibility.
