The Pearl STS924XSP Session Studio Select Shell Set in Piano Black is a drum set for advanced drummers and professionals with a good price-performance ratio and many practical features from the high-end series of Pearl drums. The Pearl Session series was reworked again in 2018 and now comes with a hybrid birch/mahogany drum shell and a 60° bearing edge. The only 5.4 mm thick shell produces a full, soft and deep tone with long sustain. The controlled punch provides a mixture of clarity and tonal warmth. Remo Pinstripe / Powerstroke 3 heads are factory mounted for playing fun and quality right from the start. The Pearl 2.3 mm SuperHoop guarantees tuning stability and focused sound. The toms are mounted using the OptiMount suspension system, so the shell can resonate completely free.
