Professional production in an iconic studio

The Library was recorded in the legendary Sound Emporium Studio in Nashville. This traditional studio was founded in 1969 by cowboy Jack Clement and is one of the city's most important recording venues. It is known for its creative character and outstanding acoustics, which are particularly effective when capturing natural instruments. Numerous artists such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss have recorded there.

High-caliber production team with experience

The EZX was produced by Grammy award-winning producer, engineer and mixer Dave O'Donnell, who is known for his work with James Taylor, Sheryl Crow and John Mayer, among others. Throughout the session, renowned Drum engineer Artie Smith was also responsible for Tuning and sound maintenance. His decades of experience give the recordings a special depth and quality. Selected kits were also recorded with brushes and rods, allowing for additional sound variations.

In addition to the drum kits, the EZX contains an extensive selection of acoustic Percussion instruments. These include tambourines, shakers, cowbells, claves, shells, claps and finger snaps, which fit perfectly into acoustic arrangements. A total of 9 bass drums, 12 snares, 24 toms, 4 hi hats, 4 rides and 9 crash cymbals are available. The sounds were recorded with the highest quality studio equipment such as API consoles, Neve Preamps and Vintage microphones from Neumann, AKG and Coles.
