The Ibanez BTB1605 DTF 5-String Bass Guitar takes its place in the brands Premium range of instruments that combine high-end components with stunning looks and amazing affordability.
The Ibanez BTB1605 features Mahogany body wings that are topped with slabs of exotic Poplar Burl, a combination that looks as good as it sounds. They are joined by a 35” scale 9-piece BTB5 Wenge, Bubinga and Maple thru-neck that is fitted with Graphite reinforcement reds to improve stability. The neck is topped by a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard that has been given the brands Premium fret edge treatment to increase comfort and playability. The fingerboard itself is finished off with off-set Abalone dot inlays.
The body of the Ibanez BTB1605 is fitted with a pair of Nordstrand Big Single pickups that are capable of producing an amazingly wide range of different tones. They are joined by an EQB-IIISC 3-band active EQ that features a mid-frequency switch and an EQ-bypass switch that selects active of passive operation.
Finally, the Ibanez BTB1605 5-String Bass Guitar is equipped with a Mono-Rail IV bridge, a Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut and a high-tech Neutrik locking jack.
