The Fame SPD Hybrid Wave Sample Pad is a fully equipped all-rounder for drummers, percussionists and performers. With nine responsive rubber pads, RGB pad lighting and freely assignable sounds, it opens up countless creative options for both live setups and studio work. Whether you use the more than 1,000 built-in sounds or your own samples, this pad delivers consistently dynamic performance. Custom sounds can be imported via line-in or wirelessly over Bluetooth, and samples can also be loaded directly from a USB stick. With a massive 32 GB of internal memory, the Fame SPD Hybrid Wave Sample Pad has plenty of space for even the largest sets and projects. MIDI In/Out and USB-MIDI provide external control, making it perfect for use with computers, DAWs or other MIDI devices.
Each pad can hold two different sounds, and with A/B layer functionality these can be dynamically crossfaded or triggered independently. Two additional trigger inputs and two pedal inputs expand the system into a complete hybrid drum setup.
Four master effects and three kit-specific effects allow you to sculpt sounds directly on the device. The colored LED lighting and backlit display ensure clear visibility even on dark stages. With its illuminated logo and RGB indicators for each function, the SPD Hybrid Wave is both practical and visually striking.
For maximum flexibility, the Fame SPD Hybrid Wave Sample Pad includes a user-friendly software editor. This tool makes it easy to prepare, edit and organize your own kits on the computer. The editor provides a clear graphic layout of all nine pads plus external trigger and pedal inputs, making assignments and adjustments quick and intuitive.
Simply drag and drop sounds, assign them to pads, and save complete kits for upcoming gigs. The editor also streamlines the management of large sample libraries and adds advanced features such as double layering, sample preview and setlist creation. It’s an indispensable tool for anyone working with backing tracks or using their pad live in complex setups.
