The Austrian Audio OCR8 Bluetooth Dongle is a Bluetooth Dongle for OC818 Microphones that opens up new ways of working with remote control. The device controls the Polar Pattern, High-Pass Filter and Pad Circuit of an OC818 mic wirelessly via Bluetooth in real time. It doesn't matter if you are an iOS or Android user - the PolarPilot app from Austrian Audio is available in the App Store as well as at Google Play and can be used intuitively and immediately as soon as the dongle is attached to the back of the Microphone. It is also possible to select and save user-defined settings on the Microphone. The previously unattainable number of 255x discrete directional characteristics between 8x all-Cardioid variants and Omni-Directional allows complex micing of various instruments in live and studio operation - comfortably and without tangled cables.
