Designed for life on the road, this touring device handles and routes unicast, multicast and broadcast packets with an elegant and intuitive setup.
With features like ENTTEC redundancy looping, popular fiber connectivity (SFP and/or opticalCON), and an intuitive, fully configurable web interface, Hyperion is compatible with Art-Net, sACN, MA-Net, PTPv1, PTPv2, and any other TCP/IP usage. Of course, it can also clean up your audio or AV signals.
The introduction of Hyperion makes ENTTEC a true end-to-end industry brand and offers just a glimpse into the future.
Most budget network switches don't offer popular industrial connectors like powerCON or opticalCON, while those that do are usually sold through the roof.
With the Hyperion, ENTTEC has found a happy compromise. We wanted to create an Ethernet switch that ticked all the important building blocks for a productive working life down the road, but also wouldn't break the bank.
We've noticed some significantly more expensive switches on the market, often with minimal or no added functionality, but we'd rather see you use that extra money for something more fun. Because it is possible to have your cake and eat it too.
Unlike most high-end network switches where the only fiber option is to include expensive opticalCON ports as standard, the Hyperion retains the proven SFP transceiver technology for all optical support models, keeping the cost significantly low for users who don't need opticalCON (in which case our classic HP1-81 would be the Hyperion for you).
However, if you want opticalCON, of course you can have opticalCON!
Choose from our flagship pair with a front-mounted connector (HP1-82F) or a rear-mounted connector (HP1-82R) and you'll be sorted.
With industry standard powerCON, etherCON and opticalCON ports for secure device connection, the HP1 is designed for the road thanks to its rugged construction.
No messing around with clumsy wings and add-ons to make it fit. Just plug it into a standard touring rack.
Intuitive web-based configuration. Use your favorite browser, click a few buttons and you're done. Managing a switch has never been easier.
Hyperion is designed for professional lighting protocols and is compatible with Art-Net, sACN, MA-Net, PTPv1, PTPv2 and other TCP/IP applications. Multicast or broadcast, this switch can handle it all.
Ports 7 and 8 serve as redundancy links. If ever one link fails or goes down, the other link takes over immediately. No configuration required.
The speed of the etherCON ports can be managed and is freely configurable (up to 1 Gbps). Detailed statistics for each port are available on the web interface.
LC fiber ports are available for projects that do not require OpticalCON's robust fiber connection.
