Limited premium guitar with exceptional depth of sound and elegant appearance
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Fame brand as a strictly limited special edition, offering high-quality premium tonewoods, modern features, and exceptional playability. The slim mahogany body with a striking poplar burl top not only catches the eye with its beautiful grain but also offers a comfortable playing position. The generous cutaways ensure unhindered access to the entire neck. The neck, made from mahogany and traditionally glued, features a flat "D" profile that sits comfortably in the hand, allowing every riff or lick on the ebony fingerboard to come naturally. On the amp, the proven combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in the bridge delivers versatile tones ranging from pop and blues to rock. Additionally, the coil-split function unlocks authentic single-coil sounds. An integrated piezo pickup system delivers first-class acoustic guitar tones, expanding the tonal range and possibilities for musical expression. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece and precise Gotoh locking tuners complete the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss.

High playability and careful wood selection
Crafted by experienced luthiers in Europe, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl impresses with its careful selection of woods and flawless workmanship. The body is made from khaya mahogany with a poplar burl top, whose unique grain is beautifully highlighted by the finish. A standout feature is the sharply contoured curvature of the top, with a recessed cutaway for unhindered playability across all positions. The sapele mahogany neck features a perfectly proportioned "D" profile that sits comfortably in the hand, making every note on the ebony fingerboard feel effortless.
With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a piezo pickup system in the bridge, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl delivers versatile sounds.
Seymour Duncan humbucker for sounds between Blues and rock
Thanks to the versatile pickup configuration, the Fame Forum IV Modern offers incredible flexibility in sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz in the neck, this proven humbucker pair delivers the right tone for everything from blues and pop to rock and even metal. The bridge pickup boasts high output and sharp, focused mids, while the neck pickup delivers endless sustain with a warm, vintage voice. The coil-split circuit also provides authentic single-coil sounds with a clear, bell-like tone.
The front volume control is designed as a push/pull pot and activates the piezo. The humbuckers can be split into single coils using the mini switch.
Piezo pickup system
In addition to the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system integrated into the bridge with an active preamp. Activated by pulling the front volume control, the system offers rich, authentic acoustic guitar tones with brilliant highs and characteristic attack. The piezo system's volume can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer, allowing you to blend it with the Seymour Duncan pickups for unique mixed tones.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Stonewashed Blue Gloss has a body made of khaya mahogany, while the glued neck is made of sapele mahogany.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary is equipped with Gotoh locking tuners for precise tuning and quick string changes.
Hardware from Gotoh and GraphTech
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl also shines with its premium hardware, ensuring reliable performance on stage or in the studio. The strings pass over the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, which features graphite string savers that accommodate the Ghost piezo elements. The Black TUSQ nut, combined with precise Gotoh locking tuners on the headstock, further enhances tuning stability and overall reliability.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unlacquered satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech Ghost Piezo Bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score plus points. Last but not least, the sound of both guitars is absolutely convincing and, thanks to their very good resonance characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they can also be used for a wide range of different musical genres.

I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
