The Gibson Modern Hardshell Case SG is a heavy duty instrument case with a luxurious custom interior for the manufacturer's popular SG guitars. This all-black guitar case features a rugged tolex exterior with heavy-duty cover to protect against bumps, drops, dirt and the elements. The soft plush lining also protects the lacquer and Hardware from unwanted scratching. Under the neck rest of the Gibson Modern Hardshell Case there is also a handy accessory compartment for strap, strings, tuner and other small items.
This is a really heavy duty case. Much sturdier than other Gibson cases I’ve used and it’s also heavier. There’s a few minor finish imperfections but nothing too concerning and as per usual the storage section is generally too small to keep anything in (unless you’ve got a strap you can fold up fairly well) it’s definitely going to keep my SG safe which is the main thing but just wish Gibsons QC was a bit better.
