The JICO OMNIA J44D IMP DJ SD, silver cartridge system offers an easy-to-install complete solution for demanding scratch and club DJs. Pre-mounted on a high-quality JICO headshell, the system can be installed directly on the tonearm using a bayonet lock (SME). Equipped with the Japanese-made N44G DJ IMPROVED SD stylus, the system impresses with a high-resolution, dynamic sound with deep, warm and powerful bass. The sound characteristics are characterized by a broad, velvety sound development, musical resonance and a vivid 3D sound stage. In terms of sound image, output power and scanning capability, the J44 model is clearly based on the legendary SHURE M44 systems. Outstanding tracking accuracy, high skip resistance and low record wear make the system ideal for mix and scratch applications - even when using control vinyls. The "SD" stylus used consists entirely of synthetic diamond material. These artificially produced diamonds correspond to natural diamonds in terms of chemical composition, crystal structure and physical properties - but offer the advantage of constant hardness. The conical shape of the needle tip supports precise signal scanning, while the recommended playback time is specified at 200 hours.
The J44 models of the JICO brand are a replacement for the iconic SHURE M44 cartridges.
