Highest resolution, dynamics and neutrality

The KS-Digital A500 is an active 3-way main monitor for all applications in the professional audio sector. It offers high resolution, dynamics and neutrality in the sound image thanks to the patented FIRTEC™ filtering, which enables linear and time-correct sound conversion. The A500 monitors feature two 10'' bass drivers, a 3'' dome midrange driver and a 1'' compression driver on an 80°x60° horn, providing a wide and deep sweet spot. The A500 can be used in both free-field and wall-mounted applications and can be connected to the workstation via the analog (3-pin XLR) or digital input (AES3 - RJ45). Signal processing takes place in a 24-bit ADC/DAC with an FPGA, which also offers six parametric EQs, delay, gain and other functions. The A500 monitor can be remotely controlled with the optional KSD-RC Remote and adapted to the studio acoustics and installation situation. The A500 monitor is therefore ideal as a main monitor for recording, mixing and mastering applications.
