With a selectable transmission power of up to 30 mW, the U500® series vocal sets achieve a range of over 100 metres in open space. They are available for three radio frequency bands: 584–608 MHz and 655–679 MHz, in each of which you can operate 12 systems simultaneously; in the 823–832 MHz and 863–865 MHz bands, six systems can be used at the same time. The True Diversity UHF wireless systems are equipped with an automatic scan function that finds the best available frequency, and the convenient one-touch infrared synchronisation of transmitter and receiver simplifies setup.

High-contrast OLED displays provide an optimal overview of functions, showing group, channel, radio frequency, signal strength and battery status; individual user names can also be entered. In addition to the squelch function, an inaudible pilot tone from the transmitter ensures interference-free operation. It protects against interference and mutes the receiver if a radio signal is received without this tone. The effective U500® technology, featuring high-quality components, achieves precise, distortion-free transmission without latency or artefacts. Low power consumption ensures a transmitter runtime of up to 10 hours on two AA batteries.

The Vocal Sets in the U500® series are available with handheld transmitters, headsets, lavalier microphones and single or dual receivers. The handheld transmitters can also be flexibly adjusted for vocals and speech using interchangeable microphone capsules.
